Nonproliferation? Disarmamet? Misters Candidates, do you have any ideas?

On 26 of August, the United States and I am sure many others in the world, were watching closely presidential debates. The moderator, bright and intelligent Jim Lehrer, did not ask a single question about the candidates' positions on the nuclear issue (nuclear nonproliferation and disarmament). Campaign for Nuclear Weapons Free World sent e-mails and messages to as many people as possible asking to submit a question request to Mr. Lehrer. SAGA Foundation sent two letters and multiple e-mails, yet...no question relating to nuclear weapons and nuclear threats was brought during the debates...Senator Obama mentioned nuclear nonproliferation and nuclear agreement only with regard to Lehrer's question about Iran...

Nobody mentioned disarmament...
I am astonished, amazed, upset, disappointed about how during the debates devoted to foreign affairs and homeland security, nothing was said about nuclear weapons. Meanwhile, the U.S. national posture and enormous nuclear weapons stockpiles remain the top international concern. In addition, al-Qaeda threatened to use WMD against the United States numerous times, but apparently our presidential candidates are not concerned about it.
