9/11 Commission released its report in 2005 and then the United States received "D" for its preparedness to a terrorist attack and adopted security policies. Today, according to the WMD Report card (prepared by Partnership for Secure America) the country moved to "C".
It took 3 years for the United States to get to "C". I wonder how many years left for the US to become a "B" student?
During this critical historical time, when the United States chooses its next leader, people discuss Sarah Palin's lipstick or Obama's charisma, while terrorism and nuclear security receive little attention.
According to the report "A nuclear, chemical or biological weapon remains the single greatest threat to our nation".So I ask, why we do not challenge our elected officials, why we do not care about the issue and remain deaf to such alerts???
Such analysis as performed by PSA deserves a much greater attention and a broader public needs to know on where the country stands with regard to the national security.
